Tasting notes
The 2024 Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Mouches Blanc (Domaine) is one of the more reserved whites in the cellar, unwinding to reveal notes of citrus zest, peach, orange leaves and white flowers. Medium- to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it’s layered and structured, with good grip on the finish.

The 2024 Beaune Clos des Mouches Blanc ler Cru has a much more austere bouquet than the Chassagne Morgeot. It opens gradually with stony, cool glade scents. The palate is well balanced with good intensity, fresh and tensile, light leesy notes that shape the finish and lend length. Excellent.

5 Star Wine. Picked over three days, 16th-18th September. Around 13% or just over, naturally. What a stunning bouquet with the characteristic extra flesh! Plenty of white fruit weight with cashmere texture, enveloping the oak which is certainly present but well handled. A beautifully long finish.
