Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2019-2030, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2016

The 2015 Beaune 1er Cru Les Feves is essentially a continuation of the vines of their Beaune Cent-Vines parcel that are tended by the same tâcheron (vineyard worker). Just the terroir is different, as here it is more calcareous. It offers a terrific bouquet of lively red cherry and mulberry fruit infused with minerals. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, palpable energy with impressive tension and mineralité towards the sustained finish. This is a seriously fine Beaune packed with delicious fruit and complexity.
