Tasting notes
Revealing aromas of sweet berries and cassis mingled with cigar wrapper, violets and spices, the 2019 La Tour de By is medium to full-bodied, velvety and concentrated, with lively acids, powdery tannins and good persistence on the finish. It's already showing much better than it did shortly after bottling.

The 2019 Château La Tour De By showed well, with plenty of spicy red plum and currant fruits as well as a medium-bodied, nicely balanced, enjoyable style on the palate. It picks up more tobacco and cedar notes with time in the glass and is a solid drinker to enjoy over the coming 8-10 years.
The 2019 La Tour de By has come together well. Dark berry fruit, gravel, spice and menthol lend notable complexity throughout. La Tour de By is a bit rustic in feel, but pleasantly so. I would prefer to drink it over the next decade or so. There is certainly plenty to like.
