The nose is presently noticeably reduced and if you insist on trying a bottle young then be sure to give it a thorough aeration. On the palate this is a big, rich and powerful wine with borderline painful intensity to the well-delineated broad-shouldered flavors that culminate in an explosively long and almost tannic finish. This most impressive effort is very clearly built-to-age and one that it going to need it.
