Tasting notes
The 2014 Pouilly Fuisse C C is a five-barrel production from Carmentrans and Côte vineyards. There was a little SO2 on the nose that tended to mask some of the fruit. The palate is balanced on the entry with orange peel and light spice notes, although it tapers towards what feels like a simple finish.

Vibrant nose melds lemon, lime, white peach and minerals. Juicy, sharply delineated and light on its feet; not hugely rich or superconcentrated but energetic and already appealing. The crop level here was a normal 40 hectoliters per hectare, according to Julien Desplans, and there was just one harvest in these vines, not a series of tris .
