Tasting notes
Made exclusively from Chardonnay from Avize (51%), Mesnil-sur-Oger (44%) and Villers-Marmery (5%), the 2007 Amour de Deutz Brut offers a clear, precise and yeasty bouquet with potted ginger, brioche and bread flavors on a very fine, pretty complex and elegant nose. The palate is pure and delicate yet tight and tensioned towards the finish. There is structure, great elegance, finesse, length and stimulating salinity. The 2007 is a complex and mineral but delicate Blanc de Blancs (lot LA111D07616) that combines power and persistency with finesse and elegance. Tasted in June 2018.

The 2007 Amour de Deutz opens with slightly reductive, toasty notes that are quite appealing. Rich and inviting on the palate, the 2007 offers striking depth and creaminess from the very first taste. Although not especially complex, the 2007 is super-inviting and absolutely delicious. It will be nearly impossible to resist upon release. Disgorged: March 15, 2016.
