Tasting notes
A much more savory style here, this has a beautifully captured set of woody spices and chalky notes, some dried white flowers, white peaches and lemon citrus. The palate has Meursault-like grapefruit punch and power as well as really brilliant complex savory flavors. The refined layered texture goes on and on leading to a pastry-like finish and some toasted hazelnuts, too. Great wine! Drink now.

Pale yellow. Bright floral- and mineral-laced citrus fruit aromas are complicated by notes of smoky lees, anise and iodine. Dry and sharply focused on the palate, offering bitter lemon pith and pear skin flavors that stretch out and deepen with air. This powerful yet lithe wine finishes with outstanding clarity and building floral and ginger qualities.
