Tasting notes
Wow on the nose - black currant, raspberry, smoke and flowers. The palate builds on structured tannins with soft/powdery texture. Flavours of blackberry, raspberry and baking spices combine with light smoke and liquorice undertones. Powerful yet elegant with perfect balance. Long, long length.Dec 2015

Light to mid crimson. Red fruited and a little toasty but fragrant too. The oak is more evident here but there’s lovely juicy red fruit giving scent to the mid palate. A definite jump up in quality and depth after the premiers crus. Light, very fine tannins, fresh and red fruited on the finish. (JH)
