Tasting notes
The 2012 Pouilly Fuissé Vers Cras is one of Cordier's best offerings this vintage. It has an exotic bouquet with plenty of tropical fruit: pineapple, mango and even a touch of guava coming forth, though it retains respectable definition, keeps everything on the straight 'n' narrow. The palate is clean and fresh with a keen thread of acidity that counterbalances the ripe and vivacious fruit: lemon zest, fresh apricot and kumquat, leading to a bright and tense finish. Flavor and tension - that is what this delicious Pouilly-Fuissé is all about.

Tight, lively palate. Some green fruit and chalkiness – reminds me of Chablis, in fact, though it is far fuller in body. Lovely acidic line. Light mealiness. Likely to age well. (RH)
