Tasting notes
A vibrant silver/straw color, the NV Champagne Classic Brut is a charming introduction to the range from Deutz, taking on a dewy and springy style, with aromas of honeydew melon, guava, fresh lily, and wet stones. Medium-bodied, with an energetic mousse and a clean, refreshing lift on the finish, its classic aperitif style is welcoming and begs to be enjoyed in its youth. Drink 2023-2026.

One-third each of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir. Based on the 2019 vintage. pH 3.05, RS 8.5 g/l, SO 2 total 69 mg/l, SO 2 free <9 mg/l. Vegan. Really quite delicate and special. Lovely fine balance and a good combination of refreshment and fruit. (JR)
The NV Champagne Classic Brut is fresh with ripe pear, candied lime, and bread dough and is exuberant in its effervescence, with pleasant ripe orchard fruit and tangerine. It is easy-drinking and quaffable enough to enjoy on its own over the next 6-8 years.
A creamy and fresh NV with lightly cooked apple, some brioche, lemon rind and a fresh finish. Drink now.
