About the producer
The domaine was set-up from scratch in the late 1920s by Pierre Ramonet. Ramonet’s father was a vineyard worker and young Pierre was practically raised amongst vines, helping him from the age of eight. He bought his first vineyard – Chassagne-Montrachet Les Ruchottes – in 1930, when he was just 24 years old; the plot is one of their most prized today.
