Score 91/100 · Drink 2021-2026, Neal Martin, Aug 2021

The 1992 Chablis Les Bouguerots Grand Cru has a clean, pure bouquet, gently unfolding to offer dried honey, green olives, brioche and pear. The palate is well balanced with touches of aniseed on the entry. There is fine balance here, and just a touch of volatility on the finish that winemaker Grégory Viennois told me is not uncommon in these old vintages of this cuvée in particular.
