Tasting notes
The 2024 Vosne-Romanée Les Beaumonts ler Cru has a perfumed nose with red cherries and wild strawberry scents that blossom in the glass. The palate is a little chewy on the entry, fine acidity, quite sweet and candied with blood orange on the finish. This just needs a bit more precision and that is exposed by some of Hudelot-Nõellat's other cuvées tasted from barrel.

There is a whiff of volatile acidity floating in the background of the high-toned aromas of red currant, cherry and plentitude of spice nuances. The super-sleek and beautifully delineated flavors also exude a borderline aggressive minerality that exhibit solid length. Note that the VA is sufficiently subtle that I doubt most tasters would be unduly bothered by it.
