Tasting notes
The 2024 Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes ler Cru has a well-defined nose: redcurrant and wild strawberry, undergrowth and light morels coming through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy ripe tannins, a patina of new oak (50%) to be absorbed but there is a decent amount of fruit to soak that up. One to watch.

About the producer

This Gevrey-Chambertin property was founded in 1982 but the vines were leased to other producers. As of 2021, that’s all changed, with Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat’s Charles van Canneyt and his wife Anne-Sophie having purchased the property. This is undoubtedly an address to watch.
