Tasting notes
Medium to full-bodied, round, and plush, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Elle Lewelling Ranch comes from a great valley floor site in St. Helena and is all Cabernet Sauvignon aged 22 months in French oak. It delivers darker currants, spicy wood, and leafy herbal aromatics on the nose, while the palate is concentrated with velvety tannins and tons of classic Lewelling character and sexiness. I love it today, yet it's going to keep for at least 15 years. Drink 2025-2040.

Sourced from the vineyard's Grove block, set back against the western hills, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Elle - Lewelling Ranch boasts an amazingly soft mouthfeel and elegantly silky texture. Black cherries, suede and subtle spice shadings somehow remain airy and refreshing in this medium- to full-bodied wine, which clearly overdelivers compared to many Napa Cabs in this price range.
