50% new oak. Cask sample. Wood is more in evidence but this just needs to blend in and will make this a regal, refined grand cru Morey. Good 'chew' on the palate. Dark-berry and cherry fruit. Plenty of crisp acidity to keep the palate fresh and lively. Will develop very well. (AWH)

There are two parcels here, and Benoît feels that they need to be blended to have a complete wine. This is a real aromatic charmer thanks to the rave of black currants, crushed blackberries and damp earth. Lightly dry tannins hook up with firm acidity to give this good framing, but there is plenty of fleshiness to keep this from feeling strict.
