Tasting notes
he 2024 Les Sorbes is floral and elegant, showing a style that is quintessentially Morey-St-Denis. The nose offers raspberries and dark plums, while the palate carries a good horizontal dimension, spreading gracefully across the tongue. The firm tannins add definition without heaviness. A touch of subtle sweetness on the finish—likely from the new oak, which is exceptionally well integrated in the 2024s, rounds out the wine. Refined, balanced and characterful.

This is Benoît’s third edition of Clos Sorbè, and it’s as lifted and bewitching as the first two. Full-on summer florals, black cherry compote and sliced plums pack onto the palate. This radiates with mouthwatering acidity and an open, broad palate.
