Tasting notes
The 2024 Bienvenues Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru has a crisp bouquet with green apple and sea cave scents that unfurl in the glass. Fine delineation. The palate is well balanced, quite strict, fine weight in the mouth with a citric finish. You get the sense that this is holding something back for later. Contained but there is potential for it to blossom with three or four years in bottle.

About the producer

Alvina Pernot is one of the most exciting producers of white Burgundy today. Based in Puligny-Montrachet with some incredible vineyards, this is a name to watch – creating taut and mineral styles of white Burgundy.
