Equal parts Grenache, Carignan, and Syrah, the 2016 IGP Cotes du Brian La 50/50 aged only in stainless steel. It's fresh and fruity, boasting bouncy berry fruit. It's medium to full-bodied, with a tart finish and a silky mouthfeel. Drink it over the next few years.

About the producer

Jean-Paul Tollot & Anne Gros
Anne Gros is better known for her estate in Vosne-Romanée, as is her partner Jean-Paul Tollot for his family’s Domaine Tollot-Beaut in Chorey-lès-Beaune. Beyond Burgundy, however, the duo makes some impressive wine in Cazelles in the Minervois, working with higher-altitude vineyards.
