The 2008 Welschriesling Trockenbeerenauslese No 2 Zwischen den Seen is very aromatic and round on the nose, where ripe apricots and roasted yellow paprika intermixes with mustard seeds and horseradish. This wine is very clear, pure and elegant on the palate, highly concentrated and sweet, but also piquant and very well balanced. The palate is provided with a lingering salinity and. This is an excellent TBA of great expression and elegance. Great aging potential.

All stainless steel. Mid golden. Hugely luscious nose. Some particularly exotic sort of eating apple. Toast loaded with the juice from a quince-based tarte tatin. Wonderfully luscious character. Very tangy and lively. Masses of acidity. TA 9.4 g/l – high for them. (JR)
