Score 91/100 · Drink 2014-2022, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2014

The 2012 Mâcon la Roche Vineuse Les Cras has the highest level of calcium carbonate in the soil and sees around 15 to 20% new oak. It has a refined bouquet with scents of white peach, a touch of dried honey and undergrowth all well-defined and feminine – finesse over power. The palate is generous on the entry with touches of white chocolate infusing the citrus fruit, great density and balance, leading to a harmonious, svelte, almond-tinged finish. Gorgeous!
