Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2024-2038, Neal Martin, Dec 2021
The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Argillières comes from a 0.11-hectare parcel that is completely tended by hand as it is so small. It has a beautifully-defined bouquet with a slightly more floral component than the regular cuvée. The palate is medium-bodied, quite well-structured, fresh with a saline-tinged finish. Bad news... Not only is there one barrel, Alec Seysses confirmed that this cuvée will not be commercialised. So, if you have dinner with the Seysses family, you might see this micro-cuvée, otherwise, know that it does exist.
