2017 Pierre Peters L'Etonnant Monsieur Victor TB17

The L'Etonnant Monsieur Victor Edition TB.17 is a powerful, resonant Champagne. Lemon confit, tangerine peel, spice and exotic floral notes all build as the 2017 gains stature and volume in the glass. Creamy, supple contours wrap it all together. There's gorgeous immediacy here, but also plenty of persistence that grows over time. The 2017 is marked by serious textural density, the result of yields that were on the low side by historical standards here. As a reminder, this cuvée is a blend of one tank of Chétillons and one tank of Réserve Oubliée. It’s a quirky, idiosyncratic Champagne for the dinner table. Dosage is 4 grams per liter.
