Score 90/100 · Josh Raynolds, Nov 2010

Light, bright gold. Pear skin, yellow apple and lemon zest on the nose, along with hints of white pepper and fresh sage. A smoky leesy quality emerges with air to add depth to ripe citrus and baked orchard fruit flavors. In contrast to the more youthful 2000 version, this is a mature Champagne that offers a suave blend of richness and vivacity. Finishes with very good smoky persistence. This house is under the ownership of Stephane Coquillette (see above).
