2006 Ludwig Hiedler Riesling Heiligenstein

Hiedler's 2006 Riesling Ried Heiligenstein starts with a clear, cool and spicy nose. Fine and elegant in the mouth, with good, juicy richness and baroque structure, it is somewhat bitter on the finish. It's an opulent but elegant Heiligenstein that could age for a good 20 years. From the domaine’s wine library, this was tasted at Grafenegg castle in September 2022.
