Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2014-2022, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Jan 2015

Still aging in a combination of barrel and concrete tank, the 2012 Gigondas La Font De Notre Dame (80% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre and the balance Syrah) exhibits light red and black fruits and garrigue to go with plenty of classic Gigondas spice and savoriness. Medium-bodied, supple and nicely fruited, with a great texture and light tannin, it should be drinkable on release, yet evolve gracefully through 2022.
