Aromas of baked bread, crystallized ginger and spices; showed a tart berry hint with aeration. Dense and brisk, with flavors of orange peel, apple and spices. Possesses a tight core of spicy fruit and considerable inner-mouth energy, but comes across as a bit youthfully disjointed today owing to slightly clenched acidity. Also tasted: NV Cuvee Hugues de Coulmet Blanc de Blancs.
