Tasting notes
A blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah, the tank-matured 2019 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee des Deux Soeurs features scents of strawberry compote and subtle dried-spice shadings. It's full-bodied, soft and stewed, with a bit of dead-fruit character, but feels plush, with soft tannins on the finish.

The 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cuvée Des Deux Soeurs is 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah, all aged in concrete. It’s a classic, peppery, garrigue, and savory cherry-driven 2019 offering ripe tannins, plenty of mid-palate depth, and a great finish.
Brilliant ruby-red. Strongly perfumed scents of ripe red fruits and lavender are accompanied by exotic spice and blood orange nuances. Supple and expansive on the palate, offering sweet raspberry, cherry and floral pastille flavors underscored by a smoky mineral element. Well-concentrated but lithe as well, finishing juicy and quite long, with lingering, spice-tinged red fruit character and slow-building tannins.
