Score 89-90/100 · David Schildknecht, Wine Advocate, Apr 2007

From a cru they first farmed last year comes the Arlauds’ 2005 Morey-St.-Denis Les Blanchards which had not yet been bottled when I tasted. Aromas of horehound, eucalyptus, resin, raspberry and rhubarb lead into a well-concentrated, clinging palate impression of ripe red fruit with smoky, herbal adjuncts. This may fill out a bit after it has had time to settle down in bottle. Its concentration and length recommend a few years bottle maturation. A Peter Vezan Selection (various importers), Paris; fax 011 33 1 42 55 42 93.
