Tasting notes
Inky dark fruit, chocolate, game, licorice, leather, black pepper and grilled herbs give the 2017 Syrah Sangiacomo a combination of fruit richness and savory intensity that is utterly beguiling. This deep, flavorful Syrah is another gorgeous wine in the Myriad range.

From a vineyard on the southern end of the Petaluma Gap in the Sonoma Coast AVA, the 2017 Syrah Sangiacomo Vineyard offers a terrific perfume of spiced plums, incense, herbes de Provence, and cedar wood. It’s medium-bodied, has a layered, beautifully balanced profile, good acidity, and enough tannin to warrant 3-4 years of bottle age. There are a tiny 75 cases of this beauty, and my money is on it aging for 10-15 years.
