Score 89/100 · Drink 2024-2031, Neal Martin, Jun 2024

The 2022 Chablis Mont de Milieu 1er Cru doesn't quite have the energy and race of the best examples this vintage, though it is well-defined with attractive crushed limestone/sea spray scents. The palate is well-balanced, with sour lemon and lime on the entry and modest weight with a touch of sour cherry on the finish. Enjoy over the next 6-9 years. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis.
