Disgorged 1998. Quite different packaging from the 1995! Deep gold. Definite age on the nose. Even a bit of decay… Low acid and not the most refreshing. Bubbles seem to be struggling to make their way to the surface through this dense liquid. On the way down. (JR)

Bright pale yellow color. Musky, multidimensional nose combines lemon, fresh pineapple, orange zest, hazelnut and smoke. Creamy-sweet and tactile, with superb fruit intensity and impressive extract. Complicated by low tones of earth and mushroom. Very dry in the best sense. Impressively long on the finish: it's hard to scrape this wine off your palate.
