1998 Beaune Bressandes

Good full red. Superripe aromas of cherry, roasted nuts, leather and damp earth; shows a distinct aspect of surmaturite . Fat and thick in the mouth, with an almost Chateauneuf du Pape-like roasted ripeness. On the heavy side for this normally elegant wine. Finishes with substantial but harmonious tannins.
