This is Lot 071206 11979, disgorged in December, 2007. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2012. Charles Heidsieck is one of Champagne’s historic houses. Charles-Camille Heidseick was an early pioneer in developing export markets for his wines as far back as 150 years ago. Medium pink. Fresh red berry and tangerine aromas offer a delicate personality, with vivid minerality adding verve. A clean, brisk style of rose, offering suave, leesy red berry flavors and gentle grip. Finishes clean and lively, with impressive cut and persistence. I adore this elegant, understated style.
