Tasting notes
After a decade, the 2013 Follow The Line is still chugging along with bright acidity and a delightfully tannic edge. While having shed its baby fat, fresh fruit essences have been traded for soft tertiary expressions without any hints of oxidation. Medium-bodied, the palate is fresh and spicy, lingering with a still-succulent finish, and although this is an older Cinsault, it’s behaving like an older Pinot Noir.

Moderately saturated medium red. Lovely floral lift to the aromas of raspberry, rose petal and white pepper. Saline and sexy, showing a restrained sweetnes to the silky raspberry and pepper flavors. Very sophisticated, smooth, energetic wine with a savory, saline finish featuring gentle tannins and sneaky length. Carrying a modest 13% alcohol. Winemaker: Duncan Savage
