Charming and supple, the 2024 Château Lafon-Rochet Les Pelerins offers red and darker fruits, spice, and leafy herb notes. Forward and delicious on the palate, it shows a nicely textured, balanced, and satisfying personality.

Deep garnet-purple colored. Opens with notes of red currant jelly, cranberries, and raspberry leaves, followed by hints of black pepper, rosemary, and dusty soil. Light-bodied, the palate is delicate and fresh with soft tannins and a lively line, finishing with an herbal lift.

The 2024 Les Pelerins Lafon-Rochet is a tasty second wine. Cabernet Sauvignon drives this expressive Saint-Estephe. Dark-toned fruit, new leather, lavender, spice, pipe tobacco and dried herbs add layers of nuance. There's good depth here, and plenty of character to match.

The 2024 Les Pélerins de Lafon-Rochet has a relatively lighter bouquet compared to recent vintages, though nicely defined, perhaps just needing a tad more vigour. The palate is medium-bodied and a bit lean on the mid-palate, with slightly rustic tannins and a pleasantly sapid if short finish.
