Tasting notes
This is always a step up from the larger volume production standard bottling, usually because of the greater selection and the additional oak influence. Here it’s much more about the former and also the greater proportion of Sémillon in the blend. Peach, apricot skin and those lovely crunchy gooseberry and white currant notes from the standard white bottling. Beaswax, honey and a slight -esque note too. Likely to be great value as ever.

Bright, floral, fragrant, intense, juicy, citrus and chalk alongside white peach juice, this is good quality, sappy, easy to drink, no need to wait. 34 hl/ha. 9 months on lees.
Vibrant, juicy, and fresh, yellow with orange citrus fruits, pineapple, white peach, and Granny Smith apples already show in the nose, and on the palate in this ripe, energetic, and vibrant wine.
