Dark, bright-rimmed ruby. Displays aromas of ripe red fruit, candied flowers, baking spices and woodsmoke. Broad and fleshy in style, showing very good depth to its sweet cherry, raspberry and lavender pastille flavors. Well-knit tannins frame a persistent finish that echoes the floral and red fruit notes emphatically.

Shimmering ruby. Ripe cherry and raspberry on the perfumed nose, along with building floral and spice nuances. Fleshy and seamless in the mouth, offering appealingly sweet red berry preserve and cherry flavors along with hints of baking spices and smoky minerals. Finishes smooth, smoky and long, showing very good clarity and smooth, slow-building tannins that add shape and subtle grip.

Based on 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah, and 5% Mourvèdre, the 2017 Châteauneuf Du Pape La Bernardine has a beautiful Grenache nose of sweet black raspberries, kirsch, spice box, and dried garrigue. It's rich, sexy, and shows the sunny style of the vintage beautifully. Drink it any time over the coming 10-12 years.

A blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre, the 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape la Bernardine boasts aromas of raspberries and green herbs, followed by darker fruit flavors of black cherries on the palate. It's medium to full-bodied, with a firm but silky tannin structure and a crisp finish.
