Score 88/100 · Drink 2018-2025, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Dec 2018

From different vineyards and soils on the shores of the Lake Neusiedl, the 2016 Burgenland Zweigelt is pure, fresh and bloody on the fleshy nose. Dark cherry and floral notes lead to a medium-bodied, fresh and silky-textured palate that reveals stimulating purity and mineral freshness. This wine is straight and tight but also transparent—a lovely and refreshing red! Tasted October 2018.
