Score 16/20 · Drink 2005-2008, Jancis Robinson MW, Mar 2005

Light ruby. Underplayed nose. Round and ripe. Surprisingly forward and drinkable. Soft, easy, by unambitious. Tannins are an afterthought. (JR)

Score 84-88/100 · Drink 2004-2014, Robert Parker, Dec 2004

An internationally-styled Chateauneuf du Pape, this 2003 exhibits abundant quantities of toasty new oak (not yet totally integrated). There is plenty of generosity and texture on the palate, but the oak is slightly shocking at this stage of development. However, the wine possesses pure red and black fruits as well as medium to full body, and if the oak becomes more incorporated, it will justify a score above the mid-eighties. It should drink well for 8-10 years. No known American importer.
