Bottled in March 2016 and disgorged in September 2022, the 2015 RSRV Blanc de Blancs reveals a delicate, floral bouquet of spring flowers, white flowers, almonds, citrus and ripe orchard fruits intertwined with almond nuances. Medium to full-bodied, enveloping and charming with a fleshy core of fruit, it’s bright with a vibrant finish and a mouthwatering aftertaste. Chardonnay grapes are sourced in the village of Cramant.

RSRV is a new brand, in a new squat bottle, for the reserve wines from their own vineyards. Fresh, clean nose. Good bite and much more convincing than some Mumm wines in the past. This would make a very appetising aperitif. Streak of lemon barley water. (JR)
