Tasting notes
Leathery, black cherry and mint. Lots to enjoy. Has a herbal edge, a bit like rosemary. Proper garrigue style. Warm and spicy finish. (RH)

Deep red. Perfumed scents of red and dark berry preserves and peppery spices carry a pungent floral overtone. Sweet and focused on the palate, offering juicy raspberry and lavender pastille flavors and a touch of bitter chocolate. The berry and floral notes repeat on a slightly rigid finish framed by dusty, slow-building tannins.
Whole bunch. Tasted blind. Smudgy pale to mid ruby. Sweet, spicy start. A very comfortable, relaxed, unforced wine with considerable charm. For early drinking though. The tannins are pretty light but the acid balance is good. (JR)
