Tasting notes
Inky ruby. Heady, oak-spiced aromas of ripe black and blue fruits, cola, incense and vanilla. Sappy, sweet and broad, offering intense blackberry and boysenberry flavors and a touch of smokiness. Rich yet lively wine with excellent finishing clarity, supple tannins and lingering spiciness.

The top wine of the estate, Coralie’s 100% Grenache 2012 Châteauneuf du Pape Saint-Georges is a gorgeous wine that exhibits loads of ripe blueberry, lavender, ground herbs and hints of graphite (which is the only trace I can find from its oak élevage). It’s full-bodied, ripe and textured, with a broad, expansive feel on the palate, sweet tannin and terrific length. Drink it anytime over the coming decade.
