Weszeli's 2017 Zöbing Ried Heiligenstein 1ÖTW Riesling opens with very ripe and mature fruit. In the mouth, it is elegant and juicy, with ripe and somewhat sweet fruit lifted by a fine, crystalline structure and salty length. Tis is a juicy Heiligenstein that is currently advancing into the maturity phase. 12.5% stated alcohol. Vinolok closure. Tasted in Grafenegg in September 2022.

The 2017 Zöbing Ried Heiligenstein 1ÖTW Riesling is very clear, intense and perfectly ripe on the nose, which is highlighted by subtle mineral and floral aromas. Full-bodied, intense and concentrated on the palate, this is a very complex, elegant, pure and stimulating Heiligenstein with some sweetness on the finish that gives a charming roundness and certainly ageability but is still good to pair with certain dishes. This is another excellent 2017 from Hiedler. Tasted at Schloss Grafenegg, September 2018.
