Score 93/100 · Drink 2023-2034, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, May 2024

The 2017 Ried Stein Engabrunner Grüner Veltliner 1ÖTW opens pure, with a pretty intense and yeasty/chalky bouquet of ripe white fruits and a hint of caramel. Mouthfillingly round, lush and dense yet also pure and vital on the palate, this is a full-bodied, saline, savory, rich and elegant Veltliner with fine tannins and a long, intense finish. 13% stated alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted in August 2023.
