Score 94/100 · Drink 2023-2050, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Jul 2023

From vines averaging 50- to 60 years of age and aged in a 2000-liter oak cask and a 750-liter clay amphora, the 2020 Pinot Blanc Leithaberg Alte Reben opens with clear, fresh and intense fruit with chalky, lemony and yeasty notes on the dense, elegant and complex, well-concentrated but not coolish nose. Lush and refined on the palate, this is a dense, saline and structured, vital and finely tannic old-vines Pinot Blanc with a long, intense and complex finish. 13.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork stopper. Tasted in Lech/Arlberg in December 2022.
