Score 88-91/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2013

(no hail here, according to Hervet, with the crop in 2012 down just 25%): Good full yellow-gold. Aromatic nose combines stone fruits, honey and sweet oak. Juicy and intense, with noteworthy cut to the flavors of peach, apricot, minerals and spices. Finishes spicy and persistent, with a slight youthful hard edge.
