Intense and characterful, with precise fruit (pineapple) aromas and lemon peels on the nose opens the 2014 Riesling Zöbinger Gaisberg 1ÖTW. Juicy, round and almost charming on the slightly creamy palate, this pure and salty Riesling has a long and stimulating finish; but, it will reach its best drinking window only in a couple of years.

Strongly pip- and rind-inflected lime, grapefruit and kumquat inform this bottling, whose pith, piquancy, leanness and cut are complemented by an abundance of citric juiciness, leading to a finish of ample refreshment and delightful buoyancy as well as mouthwatering salinity and formidable grip.
