A smoking Grenache that’s still amazingly young, the 2000 Le Clos du Caillou Côtes du Rhône Vieilles Vignes offers up of gorgeous aromas of garrigue, kirsch, licorice and earth with a solid, underlying minerality that keeps the wine fresh. The aromas and flavors carry over onto the palate where the wine is medium to full bodied with great texture, concentrated fruit and a long, rich finish.
