Score 90/100 · Drink 2015-2020, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Jun 2015

The 2013 Morgon from Jean Foillard has plenty of ripe raspberry and cranberry scents on the nose, hints of vanilla and iodine in the background. The palate is sweet on the entry with plenty of tart red cherry fruit mixed with strawberry and cranberry. The acidity is razor-sharp here but perfectly in tune with the rest of the wine and lends the finish a citric, almost clinical finish. Excellent.
